2014 Community Envolvement

After the adventurous Meiringspoort Trail Run, the athletes enjoyed at the De Rusters at the NG Church Hall fresh refreshments. The most delicious Roosterkoek (plain & with cheese & jam) were the best. Everyone also enjoyed the boerewors & and tomato and onion bredie.

There were also tea, coffee & hot chocolate for the cold one’s.

Everyone who had the chicken paella went for a second helping. To build up the energy, brownies & other sweet things were available, baked by De Rust Tannie’s

There was no need to leave the kids at home. While Mom & Dad enjoyed the beautiful view during the first Meiringspoort Trail Run, they enjoyed the jumping castle. Some brave adults joined them as well.

Home brewed beer with soul of Dieks’ Bru was also available. The (cold) Blond & Karoo Ale was a ultimate favourite. De Rust’s own microbrewery beer, enjoyed by the visitors.
